Objectives | The City of Williams owns and operates a wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system, and provides sewerage service to the City of Williams. The treatment system consists of a headworks, with grit removal, aerated waste stabilization ponds and chlorination/dechlorination. Sludge is occasionally removed from the ponds, dewaterd and disposed off-site. The treated wastewater is discharged to Salt Creek, an ephemeral stream which has been altered for agricultural drainage. Administrative Civil Liability. |
