Objectives The discharger owns and operates Sixteen to One Mine, and a wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal system for processing gold ore. Surface operations include roads, maintenance shops, offices, a mill, ore and waste stockpiles, settling ponds, and supply areas. The terrain is steep, with slopes of up to 45 degrees, and covered in heavy vegetation. The mine consists of about 20 miles of tunnels
