Objectives | The primary objectives of the Monitoring Program include:(1) Provide data necessary to assess compliance with this Order. (2) Measuring and improving the effectiveness of the SWMP and implemented BMPs. (3) Assessing the physical, chemical, and biological impacts of urban runoff on receiving waters. (4) Characterizing urban runoff discharges. (5) Identify sources of pollutants. (6) Assessing the overall health and evaluating long-term trends in receiving water quality.
In addition to the receiving water monitoring, urban runoff (e.g., drainage to discharge pipes) is monitored at eigth locations. |
