Objectives | The Discharger owns and operates a concentrated aquatic animal production/ fish hatchery. Wastewater is discharged from Discharge Points 001 and 002 to Moccasin Creek, a water of the United States, and a tributary to Don Pedro Reservoir and the Tuolumne River. Discharges from the hatchery building and production ponds flow through the settling pond and out discharge point 002. Discharge 001 is used during the cleaning of the settling pond. The production ponds are not cleaned when discharge 001 is in use. Pipe flushing and hatchery wastewaters are also discharged through the settling ponds and outfall 002. |
