| Objectives | The Discharger owns and operates a Publicly Owned Treatment Works. The treatment system consists of screening for removal of large solids, activated sludge treatment with secondary clarification, filtration, and chlorination/dechlorination. Waste activated sludge is treated by aerobic digestion followed by belt-filter-press dewatering. Biosolids are disposed at a sanitary landfill and land applied on property owned by the Discharger. Wastewater is discharged through a diffuser from Discharge D001 to the Sacramento River, a water of the United States, within the Sacramento River Watershed.. |
