Objectives | The hatchery is approximately 4 miles east of Snelling. Facilities consist of an office and maintenance building, one hatchery building, two 500 foot-long concrete raceways, one spawning channel, a spawning building, an ultraviolet treatment building, one freezer building, a full-flow settling basin, two outfalls, and a fish ladder. The hatchery discharges treated wastewater to the Merced River, a water of the United States, between McSwain Reservoir and the San Joaquin River. |
